So we've got MVP/best serve, best spiker, best point guard, and 1/2 best defensive player vs. 1/2 best defensive player, summer serve/most improved.

I wonder what the odds are in Vegas?

I laugh. Wescott is the classiest guy in the pool. Creepy will creep your minds out so bad you won't know if you're slappin' a ball or his ass (he likes both), and OJ/Wild Jethro are on a Jedi mission to own the '07 season. Hopelessly outclassed challengers? I say the 'Greatest (Safety) Squad Ever!' Bring it on, beeatches. Bring. It. On.

I would like to point out that not only am I the classiest guy in the pool (thanks for the dap OJ), but I also was extremely close to winning Server of the Year (although Pat deserves the award for consistency and placement). This would have set up the ironic distinction of winning not only the Summer Serve, but also Server of the Year. I would venture to guess that this has not happened before. I just thought that was worthy of pointing out to those who missed it.

Everybody hit on everybody all year long. The vet team is basically the same team as last year, with the subtraction of a confused sailor and an addition of a guy that likes to watch other men plug the deuce hole. That's just gross.

The games shall be good, and I'm excited to play them. I'm more excited to just start the damn season and have some fun, though. AWVP Unite (in a little over a month or so)!

- Congrats to all award winners!
