We managed to get sixes started by 330...Bad to decent games for the first sixes of the new season...Water is fine until shadows and breeze hit around 6ish...

Attendees: Jarrod, Jason, Creepy, Jess & his plus one, Will, TBone, Nino, Carson, Joseph, a drunk scrub, Mikey, Bunny, Jordan, T2, Elaine, and I brought a newcomer, Shea...Very good attendance for a late Sunday start...

Action had its moments...I pulled out some new moves due to sand vball time put in over off season...Also, got faced by T2 which should make Ford very happy, and I beleive he wins a pool of some amount agreed upon last season...I would like 10% or a beer T2 after you collect...Sort of like landing on Luxory Tax in Monopoly...Your chocie...

Player of the day...Everyone for playing in not quite optimum pool temps...Close to being there, but not quite...

Creepy, you like that friendlier positive post? Dont get used to them!

Fun times and great to see all the peeps out.

The water is cold. Real cold. Week is still cool at night, but heading towards the weekend it shows higher nighttime temps. Like in the upper 60s. Thats ball weather peeps. Lets make it so. And no 3.30, like 1 - 2 is what we need.

Forgot most interesting tidbit of day...Atty Scott walked by the pool on the outside of the fence w/ a chica like he didnt know us...Dont worry, The Lip remedied that little situation w/ a few very polite call outs...

Dont get me wrong...I dont blame him for not wanting to impress her w/ our motley crew, but dont walk by pool not expecting cackling...

Weather in 90's for both days this weekend. I should be able to tolerate those conditions without becoming a Chiefsicle. I agree with Mikey that 2 should be the start time.

Basically, you get to pick a start time, which is when your schedule permits you or other ball playing residents to be out poolside, so that interlopers such as myself don't get hassled by the man. This start time is usually between 2 and 3. In case people who have a ball (me for one) are late, it is good to have one ready. You post this on the website to see if people are game, there is a lot of smack talk back and forth, and then people hopefully start showing up more or less when they are supposed to. #s can be exchanged at the Panda Room to enhance communication.

I'd really like to aim for 2:30 rather than 3:30 for both days, but it is what it is. Just be warned, if 3:30-4:00 is the start time, I'm probably going to be driven off the court by hypothermia, again, as I am every year around this time.

Going to be 90 plus this wknd...Chief, you should be fine...

Jason, always say a start time at least one hour ahead of when you really want to start...Lets just say Friday nights usually turn into Saturday mornings for a good majority of the Pandas...

I believe I have everyone's number I will send out a text on Friday. We will start at "1 o'clock". Drunk Pandas can rally a little earlier so they can play longer.

Unfortunately everyone will have to wait to face LJ till Sunday but we will still have some very good games on Saturday.

Such a dilemma for players: Know that they will most likely win, and w/o a doubt get more sets w/ me on their team...OR, play across net and have slim chance to win in hopes of shutting The Lip up...

Conundrums a plenty...

Probably from coming across the net like Tinman...

We really need to step up to Dallas, Sand, and Indoor rules like talked about for years, and institute NO NET...Less injuries, takes more skill level, and would gain more respect for our sport...All positives...
