Ball went very late, like until 10:30 last night. Even the NBA finals cannot compete with our watervolleyball obcession.
Couple of questions--from WW who has my brown shades? From yesterday, where is the cooler??? I'm especially distressed because I was told it still had beers in it. Who is holding those Natty Lights hostage? Channeling JB--I WANT ANSWERS!
Good solid turnout for the last BT at the old Obstacle. Pizza(tip of the hat to 5 Tool), beer, good times & good cheer.
Good games too, for the most part. Particularly memorable was the classic old school team of Chief LJ Scotty Jesus--2 point guards/2 hitters, properly crossed, that took on the Wild Back Will show. I don't think I took a single swing, but who cares when you're playing on a team as well crafted as this? Victory was achieved in short order. Would have been fun to run back, but others are always waiting...
Apparently every night is icehouse night for somebody in Panda Corps. As light faded, so did sanity, as there was a lengthy and vociferous tirade about "overies" Just so we're clear, the only "rule" out there is that ladies get one career re-do on their serve (and I'm quite sure miss thang has had hers already and simply forgotten). Everything else in terms of re-dos for ladies is an attempt to have you get better, at which point the special privileges of "overies" no longer apply. In short, just because you have ovaries does not mean you get "overies." Clear enough?
Rumor has it that the Wild Boys beat LJ OJ in late night 2s matchups. I miss 2s. Jesus & Mr. Tasty used to be a well oiled duo of destruction. Now the only time for 2s is when it's dark and I'm tired.
Let's try to get some team pics this weekend before the Grey Lady of watervolleyball goes down (hopefully not for good)
