Saturday AAR. The extra ropes came in handy for the first couple of games to cut the court size.

We had a couple of brand new lady ballers in those games. I think they are in the medical field. They were gone by the time Reno cramped up late in the day.

And you wonder why I started drinking pedialite…

Skykine Dan made his second voyage to the pool. Someone get him on the messenger. ROTY potential.

Whar Navy? Photo, Riata Chief Dan. Thar Navy!

Now, you may ask, how did that superteam come together? Because it’s members kept losing when they should’ve been winning, that’s why.

I had won one game prior to that.

As someone likes to say, that’s why we play the games.

Let’s just say there were some struggles with fundamentals. Someone check Kenny’s blood pressure:

This affected everyone, by which I really mean Omar. It was not an advantage to have both Omar and Nomar on your team at the same time.

While he really likes playing the net, everything else was anyone’s guess on which player would show up: O or No.

Did he get kicked in the head by his horse?

Was he possessed by Jim Back, an old time panda with a million dollar body and a 10 cent head?

Or was he having an out of body experience where his mind was back in the old country?

I fully expect he’ll be targeting me next game for this AAR. If that’s what it takes to replace f*kus with focus, so be it.

The real story of today is that the better team on paper kept losing, and it took a superteam to stop the dynasty run of the underdogs. Great job by Jarrod and Miami to get their squad almost to the photo booth

We also had new resident(s) show up later in the day. And and put in a scrappy performance against the favored “home” team. The newbs got out to an early lead and held it through most of the game. But eventually came up short.

I want to thank hip hip Jorge for a couple perfect sets when he was front mid and I was back mid. A little surprised but thanks. Thanks also to Kenny for a couple of chances to hit.

Angel and Erin had good performances from the servers position.

There were some decent rallies.

Reno, gaining acceptance learning the game. Gonna have to work on stamina though.

If I can make it through the day, you can do it, too. Because I am 257 years old, give or take a century.

Good job today, pandas. Let’s do it again tomorrow.

We’re in the sweet spot of the season now. Gonna be hot, let’s take advantage of the good weather and play some games.
