Is that a double Ram dynasty? I believe it is. Teams don’t look terribly different. Not sure who was in charge of that.

And since we were around 6 on 6 today, you know what that means for the people who are not in the pics. 0-6.

What kept me going was that I saw the current MVP go 0-6 on one wild Wednesday some years ago. So I did something MVP had also done : )

Then did it one better. So we drafted, and new guy Kyle went first and made shall we say some interesting picks. With first pick: Miami. I took Kenny. Kyle took Kreg, I took Braylon. I also got Reno and Jorge. I will point out that we made sure new guys/dry people were included. Kyle for 2 of them, including Alfonso. I got one tall guy Ahmed who Reno knows.

I was more than happy with the team I got. Then you next thing you know, another L. Now 0-7. That’s why we play the games.

Rallied to win the last 2, including last game to 21, which wasn’t close until it was, so 21-18.

What sort of sage analysis can be put forth?

I’ve had worse days. Worse seasons, frankly. I can remember weeks going 0-fer or one win. Stick with it. It’s usually worth it.

Mixed ball can be a mixed bag. Certainly was today. #1 goal is ball don’t hit water. Doing something is better than doing nothing. But over on 1 every time puts your team on defense rather than offense. Try to draw up plays, your hitters will appreciate it.

1 and over can be kind of contagious. We had multiple occasions of attempted hero ball, with people taking placement shots. If it works, great. If it doesn’t, people will yell at you. So know your pool is suppose. This was not the most serious day so I get people deciding they want to go for it.

But trying to draw up plays will be encouraged going forward and rules on what moves are and are not allowed will be tightened up.

So if you had a good day playing sloppy ball, don’t get cocky : )

Odds and ends. Alex Ukraine returned to the pool. Had some good serves and one good hit.

TJ made an appearance. Always good to see another old school baller.

And in something that is becoming a trend, as the sun monster was going down and the AWVP pandas are packing it in, others are showing up. With volleyballs.

I suspect that those who are not us are familiar with our ways so they know when to show to do their thing. I stuck around to F around because why not?

Why is this important? A couple of them had some skills. But no experience. Like DON’T WEAR RINGS IN THE POOL.

So it happened again! Something like 20 people were searching for the Precious for like an hour. I gave up.

You wanna know who found it? Kallie Lou Who, who is no more than five foot two!

But who has a heart and soul bigger than 10 grinches times 2!

I believe this means she is now blessed in 2 different religions.

Helping others, who are not us. That is some good instruction in the way of the panda.

Well done.
