2023 season is in the books. Thanks to those brave souls who answered the call. Unfun fact: in cold water you work twice as hard for half as much production, which is a significant decline in meters. For those of you expecting to see LJ aka the Great Pumpkin, after his hyping game today all week, didn’t happen. So you go to war with the army you have, which today was 6 players. Dan and Omar were captains. Omar “wild thing” jump serves were more dangerous to his own team than the opponents. Ram earned the nickname Mr Clutch for plays where he served the ball over the net and in and didn’t let the ball drop in the water next to him. Victoria braved the cold today and was enthusiastic about playing. That’s exactly the kind of positivity and commitment we need in this league. I don’t think Angel missed a serve. So run DRC (Dan Ram Chief) was often behind on the scoreboard to the point in one game where wild thing Omar said “there is no hope for you.” Well, hope springs eternal. Run DRC went undefeated.
