Yours truly had a world record low 4 beers because Taz drank my birthday beers which were still in Tbones cooler when I departed the Obstacle yesterday, so I had to borrow : (

Javi and Scott picked the teams.

Me and navy are known by many names: Statler and Waldorf, Thunderduck and Clobbersaur, or just The Old People.

The Old Ones had them a day. Navy was on fire. Serves, sets, blocks, hits. Had it all going on.

I like it better when I’m not lost amongst the tall trees in 6s.

Great connections between setters today with Javi Dan and Woodcock as hitters. Marcelo was firing the lefty cannon until blocked by Navy.

The Old People went undefeated today, which is a nice change from years past getting blanked or winning one on the day, although that did provide lots of time to heckle.

Erin’s serve continues to improve and she got some hitting opportunities today.

Point of order clarification for Woodcock—we’re trying to serve near somebody in 4s these days so no, dropping ball in the middle is not ideal.

It’s just great when the chemistry gets going with a team, and I don’t mean when the drugs kick in.

I was even allowed 10 minutes of techno today before Erin put an end to it.

It’s just easier to play to faster music.
