Post subject:  Chief's AAR 8/14/2021 - Mid August Saturday AAR

Mid August Saturday AAR. As usual on Sat, no particular hurry in getting started.

I think we managed to remember to switch at 8 twice, which is better than no times.

Nate made a return to the pool, and played well.

The dicta LJ continues to be in force through first set of games—you see Monkey and Alex on a team, probably gonna be a dynasty coming.

Dammit, my team was up 14-8 at one point, only to lose. Was up in most of the early games, lost.

This on adversity. You get in the Obstacle, losing when you should be winning, gotta get through that:

I managed to come back from early losses to pick a dynasty team: Joey Dan Scully Tbone Miami. Well done team.

Dan went undefeated while I was there. Double dynasty. He and Joey get co-Jefferson award for the day (which is a first)

Joey wanted to play against Dan today, but they did better when they played together: Dannery and Joetry… (h/t Punisher).

Honorable mention to Scully. Great net play, excelled as designated setter to the Walrus, was able to adjust set so lefty Joey could blast.

Speaking of Joey blasts, he hit one so hard it bounced over the rail, then bounced back. Also a first.

Miami, gaining acceptance as a setter and I really like his dedication to the game.

Tbone would like to announce the debut of the Get You Some Network, where you can get you some.

As the day goes on and the beers go down, I tend to get frustrated. I’m a rhythm player and all these slowdowns and foolishness are aggravating:

Speaking of frustration, a certain sailor has been experiencing challenges in the win column of late. I too have experienced that fate on more than one occasion. So what do you say, get the vet a win tomorrow?

Until then, Pandas.
