The day was interrupted midway through by torrential rain. Followed by good play pouring down. Wow, people. Quality of play has really stepped up out there. Dallas ready already? Notable performances: Joey on serves. Crushing it. Teams were like no moey Joey. Dan commented that a switch has gone off in his head. Apparently the 16th alien abduction is the charm. Walrus pounded some balls down and also brought Walburgers* *feeding pandas after game time can turn them into sloths. Scully—making saves inside and outside the walls (cooler got out of the way this time), fixed setting issues in years past, displaying good instincts at the net. Monkey finding his sea legs out there. Hence, Sea Monkey. Serving and hitting is across the board top shelf. Welcome new and returning sanders. Hope you like our little circus. Silly Wallyball rules aside, what being done out there is starting to look like real watervolleyball* There was a dream that was ball. Long ago, a bunch of scruffy ruffians with little or no actual experience got together. The AWVP was the result. You may hear more about that soon, and mighty bored you will be… -Chief |
