Last July Saturday AAR—inexplicable edition.

Happy birthday Dub. That EWW is still a mighty force on the obstacle is not the inexplicable part.

This is kind of inexplicable—me getting me getting a bunch of hitting opportunities, including like 5 in one game? Chief is destroying us??? Well almost.

Enough with burying the lede. I’d say if you’re on teams that bust 2 dynasties, especially when overmatched, that’s a pretty good qualification for player of the day.

In this case, players of the day—Alex and Jorge!

Honorable mention Monkey, or today Sea Monkey, who played well and was on at least the first dynasty busting team.

Kent and I were captains. I got Dub Ford Dan Navy LJ. Kent got Scott Kenny Wescott Miami Marcelo. Won that one. Then Jorge Alex monkey and Scully came in. We had good side, we’re up 14-7, and lost.

LJ wanted it to be noted that he scored on like 10 serves, including game winner and had a game changing block vs Wescott to get vengeance for our inexplicable vet team loss.

Ford also turned up the serving today.

Hitters all did well.

Scully learned to hate the red cooler today in Jarvis absence. It frustrates him on 3-4 save attempts.

Dan moved several times. Had to check my glasses but it was so.

Taking a year off is hard. I’m slowly relearning this modern game. Today was for sure a fun mixed day of ball.
