Saturday 6/26 AAR. Were there any dynasties today? Should have been a lot. I had the good fortune to play on a team that featured Dub, Ford, Zenny Rogers, navy, Jarrod. Switched to Taz when Navy left. And… barely went .500. That made Dub mad: https://youtu.be/A_MnyV-HH3U Congrats to the teams that beat us. Other notables from today: Amber Alert! Absolutely destroyed me on the net, among other good plays. Mr Amber played well too. LJ teaches when the Walrus breaches better clear the beaches. Very dominant hitting performance today. Miami, gaining acceptance. Some good sets by Scully, and good decision making as well. LJ got to do some hitting today, and did exceptionally well with his personnel. See Monkey hit, like in days of yore. Interesting observation: balanced teams have been doing better than stacked ones of late. That’s why we play the games. In terms of the inexplicable (TM Sheriff) lots of patty cake at the net today. Plus side is ball isn’t hitting water. Scrubs who supplied today’s cultural exchange of music were on the mouthy side, but rapidly realized that what looks easy, isn’t. Kudos to Dub for providing some veteran experience. Pretty sure Dan got some candid photos. Insanity is doing the same thing tomorrow that you did the day before and hoping for different results. Here’s to insanity! -Chief |
