LJ drank a Natty Seltzer. Failed to poison or silence him, as most would've hoped. Instead, something something double dynsasty happened.
Turns out he put his short pants on one leg at a time, more turtle than human when he didn't have Javi and Dub on his team.
Credit goes to Javi and even more so Dub as the day wore on. Will Dub ever get tired of Jeffersoning the pool?

Next in line was the mighty Walrus, who overcame off the field hangover to put in a good performance.
Also of note, frustrated Cuban. Don't blame him. His teams were largely small ball, and didn't do him many favors, like covering the dink. He lost many, and won 2. Just like me : )
Scully was born again hard today. Started what became short man's corner--front left on the sun side. He and Miami took on the big hitters, and gave better than they got. Tbone also had some luck from that position.
Many new lines today--I'll leave it to the punster to recall the majority of them. But here's one: "Shimmy some of that!" Shimmy returned to the pool, with some good results.
Everyone had some good hits today, including Dan, Woodcock, Wescott, Marcelo, and LJ. I can even swing a little on this low net.
New Alex, gaining experience. Miami gaining acceptance. New players are the life's blood of this league. Never forget that!
Here's a question: why does LJ pack an extra pair of shorts? In case of a Dan brownout? He could outgrow the pair he's in while playing? Immaterial. It's good that it was so, because what to our wondering Panda eyes did appear, but a long lost player, now found...
OJ, Orange Jesus, the Juice, ladies and gentlemen! He's clearly grown since he's been away, because his pants didn't fit. LJ was there to fill the gap, so we didn't get a loose naked juice, which was no doubt his intent. He played well after many years away from the pool. So all is not lost for our retired players. Not sure if he ever played at Riata before. Matters not, everyone still knows his name.
