Good turnout for a football day. I think eventually there were 18-20 of us: rollcall (forgive me if I leave anyone out): Tbone Kenny Miami Grizzle new Alex Navy Joe Kent Will Fish Scully Scotty Ford Monkey Marcelo Dan Joey Dub yours truly
We'll start this AAR with evaluation by LJ metrics: I'm told Kent went undefeated, and Kenny won 2 dynasties, which would mean they are co-players of the day. This is why I mentioned their performances first. However, there are certain flaws in LJ metrics. Which is why other perspectives will be introduced.
Player of the day based on individual performances vs Ws: Ford. Nearly perfect play today in terms of accuracy, not getting blocked, etc. Will share the bias on this--in a losing effort, the Ford Chief show (formerly the Mikey Chief show) did give our team a 9 point head start--love that movie!

Dan was the man in early games. I don't think he missed a serve.
Will hits very hard. I caught one of those on the left wrist. Amazed the ball stopped and rolled straight down. I'll remember that pain for a while. But his dinks were even more effective. You really have to sell out for those.
Now there's a little mantra I'm a fan of--if the set ain't pretty... big man looking shitty.
Did someone say today was Setterday? I believe that was the Punisher, who had him some good net plays today himself.
Why thank you, Puns. A set of beauty is a joy forever. Maybe it was the robe...
