It's mid July, and the social hour turns into hours, and the safety meetings are more frequent and last longer and longer.

Nice to see people stacking teams right off the bat. Our unstacked team won the first game, and was going to be annihilated by the stackers, but we ended up coming back a bit to score 10 before losing. Miami is learning.
Speaking of learning, introducing... Zora! She's coming off of IR and has quite the pedigree I'm told. Welcome to the dirty Philadelphia gym, oops, that was Argosy, I mean the exclusive resort community, where you are only as good as your last play/game:

After wandering for 2 games in the wasteland, Ford(not Forf) showed up with perfect timing, and we rode with Walrus, Monkey, Wescott, and Gronk to a Dynasty.
Speaking of Dynasties, I will need to mention where was a double Gronk dynasty today. If you were at the pool, you didn't hear it here first, you heard it first hand from Gronk, who was telling everyone who would listen, and even those who wouldn't: "I am Gronkimandias, king of kings, best player in the pool at every position. Look upon my works, ye mighty, and despair." It's almost like the Lip was there...
Other notables--Taz informs me that he played 2 games where the combined score for his winning team was 30-1. Dan confirms this, as he was on the other side. Those were the 2 games I spent in the wasteland.
There were also some good games-- one went 19-17. Notable performances from the usual suspects: Ford--playing great, coaching great. Plays clean ball, too:

Monkey had some moments--he even got to play middle setter position. One point guard to another, I saw some amazing saves Marcelo made on the sunny side, that led to a trip to pound town for the opposing team when the hitters got their mits on the ball. But that doesn't happen without the play in the back row. Glad to see Marcelo decided it is not a break room. Also, if the set ain't pretty... you know the rest!
We had one more notable performance today. Nate the birthday boy went above and beyond in an effort he won't remember, but the rest of us will, to achieve the coveted award of drunkest panda:
