He came in as just one of the guys. I don't think it was necessary for a den mother to tell him not to play hard and not hurt anyone. We're grown men out there, and I'll take a taste of what the best of the best can throw down, even if it makes me look bad.

It was quite the honor. Jarrod played on his team first, and set him great. I was on the second squad, and never got the opportunity--hint: when you've got a champion AVP player on the court, I'm not the hitting option.

LJ brought him out, so props for that. And in the first game, did some decent sets. But then...2018 POGOTY is missing a world class player? in classic rock fashion:

The Lorax went 0-2 in his water debut. There is a learning curve. The ball is wet, and you have to come up out of the water. The same struggles many of us deal with. We had a chance today to show AVP what we can do. And yet, so many of you were absent!
