So there was some humor, and halfassery. That doesn't discount the results that were achieved.

I was on first dynasty team of the day. Who picked those teams? Scales were not exactly balanced, but I'll take it. Next time I recommend that we honor the folks who showed up early/on time so that they get to play in the first game (then again, they could play 2s 3s and 4s if they wanted to...), but no one listens to me anyway... so I'll take the Dynasty. Thanks to my team, which, as usual, did most of the work. Credit to Jarrod in that series for setting and hitting.

That dynasty was followed by a rare bird indeed--a Malachainasty!!!

Attorney Scott was on both those dynasty squads, and played well. I continue to be impressed with Coach Ford's efforts to clean up our sloppy ways, and to instruct the new and lesser skilled, for they do not know.

We also had some white walker scrubs come in and not listen, which made Marcelo mad. It's not good to come into a new venue and make teammates who are trying to help you mad.

My team that "won" but had very little chemistry and should've been sitting then got to face a bunch of pipe hitters, including Taz, who had lost all day before that.

Navy was complaining that I wasn't returning the favor on sets, so I did in that game that was over before it really began, due to kinda low energy levels on our squad.

Some of you probably don't know that Navy deserves joint credit for all the league branding: name, full credit for logo, statue, panda concept. It all sprang from our fertile and deranged imaginations. I mean, if you're gonna devote your weekends to this level of boobery, then when the going get's weird, the weird turn pro!

And we always get back up, because we have witnessed miracles. Like this league, which needs more cowbell, so I've recovered the cowbell from the reliquary and bestowed it upon Tbone, master of our limited courtside musical accompaniment.
