Like when I'm playing on a team where Kenny likes the Vegas odds, we're up 11-6, and then Marcelo, who's not as hurt as he makes out, and actually has a left handed hand cannon, goes on a 9-0 run to finish us.

And then, you're in the "bad rote" which I only mean on paper. We had 5 drys who were all around my height + Dan. Almost won the first one--almost... but when you lose, another team comes in, and teams keep failing to dynasty so you can captain, you'll be back there again. Gave it hell, with the little teams that (almost) could, but no cigar.

How do I wake up from this? Because it's happened a lot! To quote one of my old lines, I work to hard to be losing this bad (and this much).

At the end of the day, Wescott decided to steal Dub so the teams would be "fair" meaning he had Dub, Gronk, and Dan for height, Navy for hands. I had Ford, Ford, and Ford, with NY, Scully, Monkey, Nate, and yours truly to contest.

And by Ballchair, contest we did! If memory serves, I believe it was that somewhat improbable team that won out the rest of the day in the League of Extraordinary Pandas. Paper/Vegas odds don't mean shit. THAT's WHY WE PLAY THE GAMES!

Also one point of order (in mostly jest). There's a reason you don't make it personal. I'm still a good player, I'm down in the stats, like way down, I'm with a team that are gonna be underdogs, and the opponents make "F**k Chief" their battlecry? You gonna rub it in? Really? Really?

Redemption wouldn't have happened without great play from my squad. Great play by all. Nate had a game winner. Monkey stepped up. Turns out, if you let him, New York can hit, Scully played great all around. Ford was my new Mikey : )

Other notable performances: Dub pulled another one of his Jefferson days. I said this would go on the AAR, and so it shall be so, another Scull pun: Dub and Dubber! Walrus, before he pulled a tusk, had some plays. Kenny Rogers had some blocks, Tbone was a serving machine. The Woodcock remains somewhat underutilized.

In closing, this--just because I lose, a lot(!) doesn't mean I can't play. There just might be a reason I still play in this league, although I can't quite explain what it is. Nice try today, but my inglorious bastards made sure you missed the target again!
