Pandas were frisky today. Wanted to get started early. It's apparently a league rule that only 5LJs can call down. Adjusted for PST (Panda Standard Time) we still got an early start.
Hot out there. I brought 2 water bottles, should've been 3. Still feeling a little dehydrated:

And, besides the sun, NO BURN today from the water! I wondered if I was at the right pool...
In general, good rallies, and good games, although I sure would've liked to have won all the ones where my teams had big leads they blew.
Old players return--Fish sighting, Ford back from the Euroleagues, Wescott the Wanderer! New players overcome their hesitancy and join the club--the Tall Girl With No Name, ladies and gentlemen:

Server of the day--Dub the Drubber. Do NOT let him get warmed up!
Equally impressive was the Ford blocking clinic. I think he had like 5 blocks on one single play, and so many more, like 2-3 a game, if my counting is correct.
Honorable mention, Nate/Pippin. Today was a day where there was a chance to get into the phalanx and step up. He did that. I think he won more games than I did.
Today met Tbone's first rule of watervolleyball: have fun!
