Early play: played on a team that went dynasty, making that the 5th consecutive over 2 weekends. Then, back to earth.
Newsflash! We had an LJ sighting. He went 5-1. See you next season, or maybe at Dallas playoffs.
I hear Taz was undefeated. That was one safe player. Past his expiration date by the end of the day, but that's what teammates are for--cover mistakes and maximize the playing power of the squad. We decided last game should go to 21, and won it.
My take on W-L:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcziw7helVgIt's a long season...
Look at the chance to play with different/new players as an opportunity. You will all have to in the coming months, and that's how you develop chemistry.
Let's turn to individual performances.
Javi:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31ZjnrHR8EAA bunch of people went on good serving runs: Mikey, Navy, Monkey, LJ. I'm always good for a few serves.
Very honorable mention to Scully. Found his hitting power animal.
Marcello had one absolute bomb of a hit. Then decided that was enough hitting for one day. But he's getting it, and is already a premier setter.
Bunny and Tiffer were setting great from the front middle. So glad Tiffer is ok. Now everyone stop poaching her plays when she's in the back row.
What can be said about Wild Gronk? So much enthusiasm.
Never thought I'd see Tbone doing Karaoke to Spandau Ballet:
