It's OUR TIME now. The season has come early.

I missed Friday, where you maniacs turned a 3 day ballfest into 4. MVP/Attorney Scott said it went well. Can't write about what I didn't see.

But what I did see today was promising. It's pre-season, so still a little sloppy. But there were rallies, and shall I say somewhat unprecedented interest in game. How rare is it, with our Sander overlords yet to show their presence, that we've had 18-20 in attendance, not to mention random participants, for the freaking pre-season?

I'd say that means we're doing something right.

So let's keep doing it right. And by right, I mean, if new people want to play, invite them in. Met a guy who just moved in, who was quite impressed with our little circus, and lady player who's been watching for the last couple of weeks. Both played one game, and then I think they got the fear--holy crap, this isn't easy, these guys are good, and they take this seriously. That fear, as Navy said, can be turned into an obsession:

I got the fear. Never leaves. What's gonna happen on the next play? Then you do your job, and the fear is gone. Simple, yet complex.

Thoughts and prayers to the Pirates, who lost their pool in Houston. The now ball homeless Grizzles came up here and played well. I've suggested the other Pirates do the same.

Team Grizzle + Will, Chief, Kent, Kenny approached dynasty, but failed to achieve.

Team Malachi, with some help from Jess, Creep, Fish, Scott achieved.

Which put us in a weird situation. Dynasty team wins 3 in a row, they're out. There were 6 drys ready to play as a team. Does that mean that the losing team in the extant game goes again against the drys? A puzzlement.

Joe provided the solution--losing team can regroup and pick the players they want from dynasty team to face the drys. Not sure how that works (best not be I'm facing the same dynasty team +1 loser from last game), but I was dry so whatever.

Newsflash: a new player gets his nickname. Which is good, because I can't remember his real name: Gronk, ladies and gentlemen. He has a wild spirit, kinda like if T2 and Taz had a kid.

Notables: Bunny played well in her one game. Spiked over Kent. New resident Marcelo is getting his hit groove on. Not bad at all for like his 3rd week in the league. T models 1 and 2 played pretty well together, albeit in losing efforts. Showing up and playing good ball is half the battle. MVP Walrus woke up and started hitting mid to late day.

Climate science: the sun gets really bad on the bad side late in the day. I couldn't see anything from the servers side back row about half the time.
