Plenty of rust, much soreness, and the following crazy diamonds in attendance:

Tbone(of course, he's been out the last 2 weekends, waiting like Ballchair), Navy, Mikey, Bunny, Malachai(!), Taz, Scott, Kyle, a couple new guys, and for last games, a returning new guy who I recognize but whose name escapes me. Plenty of enthusiasm though. Joe, Misty, and family as observers.

So we had enough players, and good games all day. Because it is good to be back in the water! Cold, but playable.

I got to spike one, serve off the MVP (apparently he tried to be MVP of Costa Rica, then King of Safety, and AWVP MVP--too much) for the win, and dig one of Kyle's best spikes ever. Also, setting.

Those who were there, feel free to record for posterity your favorite parts of the day, that is, beyond the obvious joyous fact that the season has begun! And we have a full weekend coming...
