Notables: return of Jim Back, new players are showing up earlier than usual.

I tried to fight this weekend, Pandas, I really did. But I don't believe my contributions made much of a difference, at least as far as the W-L record is concerned.

I therefore turn this AAR over to you. A rare occasion to honor yourselves, and other achievers, in your own words.

Should be titled What Could Have Been One of the Greatest Sunday Fundays Ever?!?

The competitive 4s plan was in place, and a former controversial MVP no called no showed to start the demise of the 4s three team tourney...Although a dedicated NY on zero hours of sleep came straight from FloatFest for the 4s fiesta...Hmm...After a mere 2 fours games where my team of course was Champ because of superior drafting strategy (no surprise there) some enthusiastic interlopers of which most are buoys entered the fray, so 4s was no more...A severe storm tried to roll through that never really materialized, yet made many Pandas melt away faster than the Wicked Witch at end of Wizard of Oz...Some decent ball resumed after the brief showers...Nothing notable tho...

4s could have been so great...What could have been like Boobie's football career...Oh well...

Point of Order:

When LJ goes third, suddenly a "snake draft" becomes a good idea. Would LJ have decided it was a good idea if he picked first? Inquiring minds want to know.

My fault for ignoring my legal training on "terms and conditions" before entering into an action. Nothing was said, which would lead one to think it was a straight draft. But what do I know about such things? I am not a snake. I just pick and play.

I put together a team that had 2 hitters, and 2 point guards. I'd say that's reasonable.

I'm also unclear how the newbs killed the 4s. How were we supposed to continue a tourney that, I would assume (and you know what it means to assume) would be double elimination, if Dub, my first pick, was taken from my team after we lost game 1 to play on another team?

I was told there would be no math, but I would think I would need 4 players to continue.

1,2, 3... ???

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ashgP4YMdJw

LJ the Fair, LJ the Wise, LJ the Judicious, could've suggested the tourney continue after stealing my first pick to play on his team, and allowed me to play on with a newb replacement. You lose, lose a player to the winners. Now that's some crafty drafting!
