Wowie wow wow. I admire the dedication today. When things got going, we had 5 on 6. I know I'm considered cranky, but as long as I have notice to pack the fight bag a day before, I will pack the fight bag. Freaky rollers included Smash Bros, Dub, Mikey, Attorney Scott, Tbone, Slim Jim (his AWVP nickname unless otherwise challenged), Wescott, LJ, yours truly, someone I'm missing, and last, but not least, Drunk Steve. Drunk Steve gets an honorable mention on this AAR. He stayed at his post, refused to be "that guy" that the other team is just going to rip up, and put in some key contrubiting plays. That's all we ask from teammates, people. He did his job, and beat expectations. More of that, please. Since Master Bruce is on pout out at the moment, history abhors a vaccuum. The Lip filled in with a classic duck under the net to stack a team when he first got in the pool, and then came up with something I haven't heard in a very long time--since big TJ accused me of it back in the day--intimidation! In the world according to LIP, you don't have to actually interfere with a set physically in terms of contact for a foul, you simply have to "affect" it. And what I am I to say about the misuse of texts by some Pandas? Perhaps you should try to keep your thumbs limber for the game, rather than wearing them out talking about the game. I am old school Jedi, so use, or misuse of this irrelevant technology is not on me. I don't need a phone in the pool--hopefully my game will speak for me. LJ was bitching about his performance today. I won maybe 2 games today. My teams were in all of them, though. I'm just happy to still be playing at my advanced age. drunk steve was nails. saved us in one of the last games. made countless set after set and played the back line like a pro. hes all growns up |

Friday's games were very competitive...Went 2&2, but still felt like I did more losing than that...Good thing was Scotty sucked w/ me cuz hes that kind of guy, and didnt want me to be all alone in world of suck... |
