We made the journey to the Ilume in Dallas for the second time in AWVP history.

This time it was a 3 team tournament. 5 players per team, games were to 21, and it was double-elimination.

Food and kegs were provided by the Cedar Springs Tap House, and the MC was Cher!

I'm happy to say that the AWVP went undefeated.

Many thanks to Steven and the Ilume. That's quite a place you got there. A water volleyball paradise of sorts. :foshizzle:

I can't remember if we played the Ilumenators or the Dragonflies for the championship. I think something may be screwed up on the score card.

And now a hotel room video has surfaced I don't remember taking. Ahh, (lack of) memories.

There was magic show, put on by the AWVP through about 6 games. There was also quite a bit of jager involved in the post game show, among other things.

OMG, in game 2, you can see Dan jump not once, but many times... are the tales of his non-jumpitude exaggerated? Perhaps the key is the low net : )
