it was a long, grueling day up norte. team fantastic won something like 6 games out there. me, wings, ronin, tom, baby tom and jared? shit i was drunk.

then some strong bbgs to close.

chief was on point. one your better outings sir. one bitching good slam too. too bad it came back.

lots of people out there trying hard to be good at playing water volleyball. we should be proud. they come out serious now. granted there is still the occasional drunk girl or lost family from Oz who jumps in, but the core of contenders is GROWING.

And I will agree the professionalism is growing. But it depends on any given day. On Saturday, I lost 8 of 9. I asked Jared if it was my fault. He said no. It's a team sport, especially up there, and getting a good 6 is not always easy.

Here's a suggestion for the "super teams," that is slightly different than Ford's just kill em quick.

If shirts start to build up out there that are scrubby, let em do an all play. That puts in 2 at once. May take longer, but not much. Should cut down the bitching, and you get to show greater sportsmanship by sitting out so they can play their games at, how shall we say, a somewhat more competitive level.

Riata is almost done. Get ready for Deer. I expect we'll be in the 90s through October.

god dammit. i forgot about baby tom's head. yes. well, going to the doctor today to hopefully get someone to place my rib back in place. christ.

My injuries:

hyper-extended elbows
sore shoulders
dislocated pinky finger
2 broken noses
damages to both wrists, including popped tendon in the left that took me out for the greater part of a year
lower back sprain and strain
6 cases of hypothermia
1 case of heatstroke
at least one concussion,

And a panda in a peartree!
