I arrived to find a pretty good turnout: Chief, T-Bone, Scott, Kent, Jared, Monkey, Alex, Bruce, Tim. But then Scott, Kent, and Jared had to leave early and it was a day of rather weak games. It wasn't nearly as crowded up there as I thought it would be. The new security guard was on duty today. He wrote up Joe for having a glass bottle of liquor in his cooler. $25 fine is what I heard. Oh well. Glass at a pool is not a good thing.

I have very little to add to Creepy's assessment. It was a very mellow 4th--almost no activity in my hood, on the road, and a typical, if not small, Riata day. Were a lot of people abducted by aliens? I'm told there might be Riata game Friday(today!). Jared just got fired, so he's down. I'm exercising the option not to work today. Tbone is in... |
