This day started out in true Riata fashion--mass confusion. Some youngsters decided they wanted to play, but got bored and wandered off somewhere in the middle of the game. Oddly enough, I think the squad of ne'er do wells I was on still managed to score 12 points.

This not-game was followed by a mass exodus of the younglings, who were visited by security for some unknown but surely well deserved reason.

Games were rough going in the beginning--no chemistry and no rhythm saddens the College.

I played a lot of games where my team got smoked out of the gate. In one game we were down 8 points, and another got to 3s the hard way. This happened 3 times if memory serves. But DC Dan got plugged in and stayed on, for both serves and net play. And in another game, every single ball went to Dub for the kill for like 10 straight plays. So it was a double D BT.

Honorable mention to Pants. Good to see Wescott again--the only sighting that is rarer is a Back, or a Deto, who actually phoned into the post game show. In other news, Jess's new girl has nice hoops.
