Last Saturday was epic. Many good players in mid to late season form duking it out. Incredible rallies. David has one recorded, so we should all encourage him to get it on the website so you can see what I'm talking about.

But pace yourselves, people. Turnout was decidedly down on Sunday and ball ended early.

Also, wtf on WW, people? I made it out there with David, Spoons (always briefly), Dave's brother Mike, Julio (again briefly), and Caroline.

Though turnout was low, much fun was had, not so much on my part in the first game of the day where my serve found many walls but no water and lost 15-0. But some good battles were fought, especially in best of 3 2s at the end of the day.

A message to the new people--if word is there's a low turnout day, thats exactly when you want to turn out! You get all the trigger time you could ever want, and playing is of course the best way to improve your skills. Salute to those who showed--Me and John lost the best of 3 to David and his brother(!), but not by much.
