After about a month of general listlessness and people acting like slack jawed fancy dans, it would appear that the pandas have learned why they gather--it is to play, play hard, and play well. #2-3 appear to be back in the equation.

Lots of folks we haven't seen in a while suddenly appeared--T2 briefly ended his holdout on WW, Fish managed to swim upstream both days, and gets the award for least rust for most downtime I've ever seen (attributed to Yoga, so the west coast is wearing off on him), and Riata Will played like his third game of the year.

Also, some new people playing. A guy and girl who appear to be Argosy residents have been out every day we've played. They only do one game and then are done, but they seem genuinely interested in learning--encourage them.

Worst year for injuries I've ever seen. I'm looking at between 3-10K in surgery costs if the wrist doesn't heal itself. Attorney Scott gets a pin in his after season, Jim Back has finger issues, Creepy's Thumb, various other bumps and bruises--brutal.

Speaking of brutal, there were some shots out there that shattered the Bang Barrier--2 with Willmentum and one with Scottlocity.

For those who are interested, I'm told Riata is open for business the weekend before Argosy ball. I will attempt to continue with my off the court chiefly duties even though I'm done as a player for now.
