Jim Back gave up a finger for victory in a vets squad reunion game--after starting down 0-6 we came back for the W vs. Ford Duane Dan David. Games were very very long on Sunday--Ford got the 50 kills he was looking for in a best of 3, 3 on 4 matchup with me and Dan backing him against David Duane Cricket Spoons, which proved a tough battle. Now that we've had another observer at Riata, my reports will likely be seen as somewhat optimistic. You can ask Back what he thought of the situation. I did get to block a guy who is 6'6" out there on Saturday, which was fun. I was a bit concerned about turnout at Argosy on Saturday, but we had lots of residents out there and a fun little after hours gathering, which reminded me of the old days of about 2 weeks ago... Very tiring, very fun. |
