Newsflash. Dan got a new mustache Kind of a late start for a Wild Wednesday. Jesus & Mr. Tasty broke the ice with a decidedly sloppy win against newchief-Dan After that it was nothing but big boy games for the next 3 hours. The first one featured me & the bigs (Mikey Will Attrny Scott) vs the Wild Ford Spoons show. Back in forth it went at 4-4 for what seemed like 4 hours. When the deadlock broke, the power team lost. Probably didn't help that attrny Scott dislocated his finger, twice, during play. When I reconvened against the same team with a slightly different lineup, the answer turned out to be... Dan (the Danswer?). For his role in turning defeat into victory and solid blocking all day, I think he gets player of the day. Action closed out with a decidedly Wild Wild Boy 2s match vs Spoons and newchief (they did suprisingly well, losing 15-12), then oldchief joined the Wilds and Scott the other side. My squad won, but barely. T2 had a classic series of malfunctions. Best described by Scotty--it's like when a cat suddenly goes crazy and runs all around, for no reason! Game play all around is at a level I haven't seen before this early in the season. This league is growing up... |
