Wonderful weather we're having, ain't it? Makes for a good turnout--Dub, LJ, Mikey, Jason, T Bone, Ford, Jess, T2, Dwayne, Scott, even the Gabber was game to play.
I was really enjoying this day--in the zone with serves, saves, sets, a spike or two, even a block on Mikey. Ford had a truly spectacular spike, E-Dub was hitting like a machine all night. And then...
Not sure where he's been, but Jess's hands were possessed by Dan. How Dan hands is contracted or transmuted exactly is still unclear, but somehow as the ball was passed around, Dan got on just about everybody.
By the last game, Dan was screwing up everywhere, while other Dan was drunk, and still another Dan couldn't see, while several Dans made some terrible play calls, so I exited the last game at 15-10 instead of 21. Nobody protested very much or decided to keep playing. Hopefully the reign of Dan is over.
Hats off to my teammates on a rather smallish squad of Wild Ford Gabber for hanging in there in a game to 21 and beating the bigs.
