Did anyone think we'd see these words in print again? I sure didn't... It was nice to see all of you out and having fun again. And it's good to see lots of new people out at the old Obstacle. My contribution will be to make sure a new era will indeed dawn. Players of the day go to first to Jason, who did the best job I've ever seen in switching venues. That being said, sand ball sets are often called "carry" in my neck of the woods. Rules are a little different everywhere you go. Kind of like no spiking the serve. Props go next to Dub, who finally(!) figured out how to serve and spike in the small pool. Give it up for the new resident, Shaun, who mixed it up with the big boys. He's tall, he can serve, and he's expressed interest in the game. This should be encouraged. Remember, gentlemen. We're not 19 anymore. Each and every one of you who love the game have a duty, as elder statesmen, to exhibit leadership and give something back. |

I hope Jason's vehicle wasn't towed. He was having trouble finding it when I was leaving. At the Argosy non-resident parking is along the fence. I don't know if they tow people these days, but the safe thing is to park along the perimeter fence. It is nice to be back.

This coming from a resident who has played approximately 5 times. IF the info turns out to be true, steps are already in place to make sure we keep it that way. They will be followed for the good of us all. |

Chief-Thank you for the kind words and the restraint that will pay dividends in not getting us kicked out I didn't get towed my car was in the other parking lot. The center grassy area things look remarkably the same. I think argosy will be a great off peak place to play with lower numbers and so as not to interfere with the locals. |
