It's just not fair, I tell ya. As I write this I'm looking outside at perfect weather.

It vexes me terribly that I was only able to share my culture with uninitiated Riata denizens for a few hours late in the afternoon on Saturday. Sure, it only takes a little while to crush the spirit of your opponents (one game, maybe 2), but still, I take pride in my work, and I want to make sure that a thorough and professional job is done.

Conditions were far from ideal--the water was green and it burns! Notable moments--T Bone discovered his special spiking purpose, and was putting balls away. Jeff from Marquis de Faggotry fame sucked less than his friends, who kindly provided us with cannon fodder. Shay got her first scrape from the side of the pool--a rite of passage if ever there was one. Playing like a trooper out there. Since there was a dearth of point guards out there, I rediscovered what my special setting purpose was for.

Edub remembered where the pool was and played his first games of the season. The Lip forgot where the pool was after lipping off.

Navy was especially vexed that there was no ball on Sunday, since he's got a baby on the way and therefore has much time and little to do--strike that, reverse it.

We need to do better with start time, people. Even the Argosy was up an running by 3. This 4-5pm kickoff time is bullshit.
