It has begun. Players were me, Jess, Fish, Jim Back, Creepy, and Carson

I was impressed with everyone's pre-season dedication and form, not much rust being shown out there. Carson has in fact improved his swing and his serve in the off season, although one of those swings got me the first block of the season, and there are still some issues with serving consistency. Jess was serving bombs, and Jim Back still has wheels. After the Chief Creepy Fish team lost to Jess Jim Back Carson 15-11, Jess Back took on the world, and lost 15-13. But it was a fine battle.

So it is possible to play 3's at Riata, as we proved last year. Just not desirable. Also still too damn cold. And we gotta do something about that net--it's about as low as it can go right now.
