I was a hot second away from Bad Behavior when I saw the actions of certain players whose-names-kind-of-rhyme-with-lame on Sunday. Pandas know better than to act like that, especially when they're not so hot stuff themselves.

Fuck that shit.

Before the bullshit went down, I did have a great day overall. It was fun playing (and winning) four games in a row.

Wow...When did that happen...Spoons is def one of the better new players to the game...Dwayne cant swing from back row, never sets, misses easy serves, and thinks he is a superstar...We should match up Spoons and him Wed or next wk, so Spoons can block his low swing a few times...

The rooks out there are eager to get better...Think I finally have Adi serving w/o heel of hand...Jared plays some good defense...Carson has the swing and is getting better, but no concept of when to use it or how hard to swing or serve

I am def guilty of doing some griping, but it is usually directed at fellow Pandas that become black holes who only want to touch the ball going 1 or 2 on 6, miss serves over and over (and then want the ball to finish every play when they are in every other position...How about finishing serves by getting them in), and/or halt games forever between games, or repeat players that arent trying to at least get better...

Overall, the wknd was pretty good...The 3 pt guard games w/ Mark and Edub vs the big hitters was some fun competition yesterday...The 5v5 games Sat werent bad either for what we had out there...

And no Tinman all wknd was icing on the cake!

I forgot to add Bunny ate up our back row to finish out one of the games...Player of the day was a toss up between Mikey and Edub...Both were very dominant...

I won no games on Saturday and 2(?) on Sunday. Frustrating, but still a lot of fun.

Sunday I found a place in Lewisville with new people to beat up on, er I mean play ball with. They've been doing the waterball thing for around 7 years, and have been kicked out of 5 or 6 places in that time. They had a decent mix of talent, but I expected more from people that had been playing 7 years. They set each other (or tried to) and all, but I didn't have much trouble blocking any of them. I'll try to drag Keith over there and learn em some new tricks. Or maybe I'll just go back to driving to downtown Dallas. Every game is a good game with that gang.

Anyway, don't get the boot out of Riata. It might have drawbacks, but how many more pools in Austin are set up for ball? The guys in Lewisville and the guys in downtown Dallas both have to cart around their own nets and poles and set them up every time they play, since they've gotten the boot from most places with nets already set up. Sucks to be the guy who is responsible for the setup each week, I'm sure.

I'll be down Labor Day weekend, and hopefully one of the weekends before that.
