Lots of games...Sat not that fun...Lots of players, muliple radios on different stations creating carnival from hell atmosphere...Cant even remember any games to comment on...Shabby and manic day would be best way to describe...Best thing about Saturday was Riata actually turned back the clock to summers of yore w/ abundant scenery that has been lacking this season....

Sunday late evening turned out best games which goes against normal convention as those are usually the drunkfest really crappy games...Yesterday, besides Tinman's usual ridiculousness and normal attempts at making our sacred game not fun for the rest of us, the rest was mostly good...One radio not at mind altering level creating less frenetic energy created some good to great games...

On side note...Lloyds antics are at all time high where i dont even want to be at pool when he is there...Guy make Forest Gump look like an f'n genius...

Well I remember Saturday when argosy layed the smacketh down on that candy ass. It appears riata has there own wescott, that is person who cries about teams not being fair, not a problem, one man's trash is another man's treasure. i took a team that was supposly inadaquit and rallied them to 2 straight victories. wescott did player very well on saturday, the funny thing about lip and chief, they never seem to remember games where the don't win or play well, i guess sometimes you need that DB mindset in football.

I agree you took some scrub teams to victory and Westcott played well...My complaints were more about the chaotic atmosphere and long waits...

Call Mikey and get there at 3 this Saturday. Pandas there is only one month left until football takes over the weekends. Lip build a team with fish, markides, wescott, chief, ford, and blah and you will never lose. talk it up.. the only ones you will have to worry about being there at 3 are the bearded twins. aka usher and r kelley.. the video will explain a night out on the town, for the big ballas along with their beards:

Saturday involved a very long winning streak for about 1/2 the day. However, by the last game, fun and sun had taken their toll, and I somehow misplaced my thumbs--couldn't be avoided, as I played in just about every game.

Agreed that Sunday was the better day. Lots of blown leads and mighty comebacks. Rookie Johnathan is learning quick--he says this is only the 4th time he's been out. Watching the Fish freakouts was fun, too.

We even had some small successes at cutting down the 20 min waits between games. At least squads I was on managed to figure out where the pool was pretty quickly.

It seems that almost all the bad Karma that used to exist at Riata has found its way downstream. This sucks, because I'm guessing temperatures will still be blazing in September, but we won't be able to drum up game.
