I finally got clearance from the surgeon and had a good start Saturday. I went downtown where the no-net guys play, and our team won the first 3 games, 15-3, 15-10, 15-4. I only hit the net once, had some good blocks and digs, but still gotta get used to the speed of their games. I was out of breath a few times. They start at 1:30 on Saturdays, so if anyone is up for an extreme challenge and can get up early, make the drive up on a Friday.

Yesterday I went to a place LJ used to go in North Dallas. After taking it easy on them, I had enough of their smack talk and gave them a few good spikes to think about. Unfortunately one of them started coming over the net to try to stuff me and I accidentally gave him a black eye. I think it's about time for a road trip. I'll either be down the 25th or the next weekend.

How were the games at the old Amli on the Tollway??? Those games were very comparable to Obstacle games when I lived up that way in 02-04....

There wasn't much setting going on compared to when I dropped by there a couple of years ago. I'll give it another shot, but will keep looking around for other places.
