This was a good one, although I shouldn't have started the day with Bloody Marys, or forgetting to eat on Friday...

We definitively answered the question of what happens when you put sand in water--it sinks to the bottom. Best games of the day were a mixed Argosy-Riata squad (water) vs. Riata sand ballers--must've been too hot for them on their own court, but it wasn't much cooler in the pool.

Games were heated and close--main problem was the mighty sand squad thought they had enough vert to jump every serve, and missed about 90% of them, bunching up their front line in the process--in my experience, this blinds your back row, and, since they still are addicted to bumping, they had enough trouble fielding as it was.

Beaten decisively in 2 straight games--I recommend you try the sand/water experiment at home--SCIENCE!
