Early games involved the Mikie Bunny Chief Hellboy amalgam nearly defeating the Wild Fish Show.

Big Shot Rob made his season debut and Attorney Scott came back from his injury. Speaking of injuries, we're going to have to do something about the drain, which is bringing serious pain this year. I recommend a plastic bath/shower mat to put over the top of it. If there is a problem with it floating away, put a couple of holes in it, or even just one, and tie it to the drain with some string. Dammit, I'm a doctor, not an engineer, so somebody figure this out.
We then played a Chief Jess Creepy Back vs Mikie Ford Fish Nick. I think my squad took both those.
Then there was Chief attorneys Juice vs Jess Creepy Back Fish--I don't think we fared too well in that one.
I don't think Scott & Back were on the same team at any time, and I didn't play with Fish...
I recall being down a couple of times by about 7 and rallying back. Speaking of Back, he was going all Dwight Howard on the Obstacle--ubackquitous, if you will, until the dime overheated, he got two technicals, and ejected himself from the the game.
This was the best of 3 3s game at the end of the night, which very nearly turned into a FordTaztroChief for the aforementioned trio. Surprisingly, the Creepy Big Shot Back team gave us fits. All stars were down 0-6 in the first game, rallied, then lost. Won the second game on the bad side, then went down 0-7 in game 3--it's cold, it's dark--why am I playing again? But the 3 star generals came roaring back with my 6 point serving run. Then we stalled at about 10 for at least 10 minutes. Bye Mr. Mojo--meet Mr. Big Shot, who had a run of his own up to 13. Then it was 14 to 11. Was cruel fate about to blow up an indestructible team? No! at 13-14, the ball got back in my hands, and, as has happened so many times before, boom goes the victory dynamite!
JB lost his mind over a couple of close calls, threw ball into Egypt and ladder into pool. Sometimes you get the calls, other times the calls get you! Earlier in the day I remember looking accross the net at Jess on a game ending bad call going, "Huh?" Two opponents, same conclusion--great watervolleyball minds think alike!
Oh yeah. Add to the Chief block list--1 on Ford, 1 on Fish, one on JB. Is this the year?
