I dropped by the Obstacle yesterday evening. The pools were full and Obstacle falls was flowing. Jets all over the pools seemed to be moving water easily indicating that filtration systems are up and running. The water itself was a nice shade of clear blue. One pole is in place. The other pole with the net on it is sitting in heap of old materials. There are new metal fences around the hot tub - this should make it AssBack proof. The bricks are now sand stone rocks and they look kind of faggy. For some reason the new Obstacle seems smaller than it did before. I also expect that they have replaced the hot tub heater.

I'd say that the reason it might not open soon is that they need to stabilize the PH and chemical levels - this will be a new exercise for the Argosy. I'm also guessing that new furniture will be added prior to the grand unveiling.

As pissed as I am about the duration of this shit, just seeing the prancing waters made me feel better. The waters live!

Pool draining continues--lots of worker bees buzzing about for no apparent reason. Can't say I didn't predict this fill 'er up & empty it approach.

Can anyone say "2 weeks?" That would put reopening day pretty close to my birthday.
