The Obstacle got a much needed face lift...Pool doesnt seem as dirty, but then again Gia didnt look like she had the big A either...The ladders affect down the line serves and hits, but overall gameplay is as it always has been...Mgnt was even kind enough to add a ball return fence on one side...

It was Atty Scott's bday and Ford's bday at midnight so on to the “bday” games: There was a game of 3v3 going on early, and than it was 4v4 for the rest of the night...We had a draft...To keep a long story short; the rookie Spoons, Ford, a very aggressive Scotty, and me went 5-0, and there were demands for mixing it up from can you believe it...The Wild Boys...The beatings were merciless...Ford was killing, Scotty was all over the place taking advantage of the other teams serving w/ his patented back to sender plays, the rookie continued to impress w/ keeping the ball alive & already setting better than half the AWVP, and of course there was the glue of a solid pt guard directing traffic and setting beautiful orbs to kill...

New teams were drafted...Ford continued his unbeaten night on the new team of the Wild girlies and Will...They were close games even w/ the stacked team vs Scott, Spoons, Chief, and me...Will was killing and as Ford pointed out maybe he should show up late every fight night...T2 had some great flipper plays to go along w/ being much more annoying than wild on this night…Jessica had a good overall night w/ some hiccups on serving and also causing my 1st hand injury of the season on probably the last week or two of the season which really pisses me off as I type and feel that injury on every q, a, z, and shift press on this damn keyboard…

Side notes: Deto was traded for Elaine early in the evening…I would say that is a new low pt for Deto, but we all know this is not even close… Sailor Jerry made an appearance and started to affect the games late as only Jerry can do so well…New trash can promotes new carnival game of throw the can into the clowns mouth over and over and over and over…

Well, that is my recollection…only a few warm water wks left…get your asses out to the games I say to the MIAs (OJ, Pat, Creepy, etc.) before the “healing waters” as Mikey calls them are too frigid…also, someone shut that barking dog in the car up…

That is all…

We also had our first hater sighting. So remember to KEEP QUIET--I'm looking at you, Wild Boys.

Other finer points of etiquette: offer constructive criticism to rookies, especially those that are residents, because they make us almost legal out there and represent the future of game at the Obstacle. They're also the only ones who can talk to the young ladies who occasionally show up to watch our antics without looking creepy.

We certainly put Scott through his paces last night. I don't think he's going to ask for another 50 carry day any time soon.

Chief as usual makes some good pts...The rookie and resident more importantly has good pt guard potential as well...

The oft absent Pants actually looked it up. The ball must leave your hand, and you may hit it with open palm as long as your fingers are together, closed palm, or fist.
