Saturday season coming to an end me of little faith AAR.

Certainly no rush getting started today. I got there at 10 to 3 and there’s me and Paul. 1 other person at the pool. Omar was asking if there was going to be game. Dunno.

Great. Are we even going to have enough players to get to 4?

This also sucks because I invited a new guy who plays at an apt complex down south. So he’s there and no one else is.

But then what to my wondering eyes do appear but visiting ballers and pandas finally start trickling in, like in days of old.

So we got to 6s after all.

New net works great. Cold water is still cold, and hint, gets colder as the sun is setting earlier now. So 4 pm start time may not be ideal. Just sayin.

Some notables. Joe and Colin on serve. Walrus beating Colin twice on the net. Joe getting almost zero sets from power left (I put up one good one but Pep got the block) but infinity sets from back middle courtesy of Kenny, who was a good league ambassador as usual. Erin beating Kenny on the net. Speaking of net, new one works great. Very bouncy, though I’m sure the kids hanging on it will fix that. Strong performance from Kyle today. All serves went over and he dug 3-4 Colin slams. Good serving performance from Paul last cookie in the jar, and good progress in not making lift his signature move anymore.

And a dynasty happened. First one was shot down. Good team of opponents just underperformed in game 3: me Joe walrus Kenny Omar Angel.

I think I won one game today. But fun was had, and the AWVP colors flew proudly over the Obstacle once again.

One administrative point of order. Riata is down to one basket style Ballchair. Had to improvise.
