We had some skyliners today. It takes courage to show up at another teams place of business to test your might. Especially because the pools are very different. They did their part. One of them is named Dan. New Dan is a sander. He knows Joey Welty. Small world.

Also, new Riata resident(s) joined in, with varying degrees of success. But welcome additions.

The important thing iMHo was games were competitive today.

That means available talent was managed well.

We had the panda mascot watching today, not head taking Optimus. That’s probably why.

There are 2 ways to think of days like today. One was put forward by Kenny: basic fundamental f ups. We’ll call these Kenny’s bff

While bffs can be frustrating, it tend to look at things another way. Ball didn’t but water! That’s a big ol win. I watch for people improving their skills on stuff I’ve seen them mess up on before.

So while we’re contemplating the Kenny vs Chief assessment of today’s contests, I’ll quote a famous Kenny line: “cut go to commercial”.

People were making more consistent plays today. One of the easiest way to start doing that is when you are in servers position. Get your serves in, pick your spots, and this helps your team a lot.

Put that ball up on the air on serve receive where someone can get to it. That helps too.

So congrats to Alex, Vivek, and Kyle for putting focus over fuckus, and expanding their skill sets. Also some people are saying Ram is making a run for most improved. He can put some sets up there.
