Pandas, According to my sources, the consumption-based petroleum-fueled system of living that is presently occuring on a massive global scale is reaching a breaking point that will leave millions of people in a weakened, vulnerable, and perhaps savage and miserable state of living. This current system of production-distribution-consumption, expanding the distance between production and consumption, has resulted in humans not knowing or understanding basic survival skills. Post-petroleum living will become more localized. People will need to work together as corporations struggle to survive. Food, beverages, energy sources, security, etc. will be more up to the people to produce and maintain than is currently the case. People will need to be less dependent on the system. People will learn to respect nature as they become more dependent upon its well-being.
