A ha! Now we can embed videos.
I had to change the setup of this board so that the html tags object, param, and embed are enabled.

Its seems that I cannot see that the videos are indeed embedded until I hit "post reply" then scroll down and see the video embedded. In other words I cannot see embedded videos upon initial viewing of the thread.

Apparently I did not have Adobe Flash Player. I got Mozilla Firefox which told to get it while Internet Explorer did not. Everything works on both and I hope I have bored the rest of y'all who have the misfortune of reading this
