It's nice to have some new game film for the awards ceremony. I have a lot of 2013 footage that I haven't touched yet. I'm willing to make another DVD, but I need some time to edit. This trip to the ilume has got me back into the mode of editing game film. |

Thank you Dan for your time and effort. I am a big fan of game film. It allows you to learn things. But it has to be from the modern era to be relevant. What you did in 2007 may not be indicative of the player you are today. Therefore, with upcoming(?) awards ceremonies in mind, it should be resolved that you can show cute retrospective videos of days past, but only actual game film from the year in question. Does that make sense? There's been a lot of bitching about how the video presentation affects the voting, which I will point out is not anyone's fault. Just pointing it out and suggesting a solution... For any particular awards year, it should'nt matter who you were in 2007, or last year--just show the video of what you did this year. Because rep has its impact, but you're only as good as your last season, or last game/play, for that matter. Make sense? |
