It was an entertaining event. Some of the girls were pretty big and some small. Some were hot and some were, well, lets just put it not pretty. There were crazy collisions. I saw two girls fly through the air right into each other and go down hard. Every once in a while a hip check would send a girl off the track, one even sent a girl flying into her own team's bench. The more exciting matchup was between my friend's team, the Hotrod Honeys, versus the Hell Marys. These two teams don't like each other. Towards the middle of the second half, one of the Hell Marys' girl hip checked the star of the Hotrod Honeys well outside the field of play into the spectators area. This caused both teams to get into a physical altercation in which a punch was thrown and some wrestling. The result was an ejection of one of the Hell Marys' girls and a whole bunch of penalties. At the very last second of the match, the Hotrod Honeys beat the Hell Marys. I am sure chief would like the Hotrod Honeys. Their cheer is "Faster! Faster! Kill! Kill! Kill!" These people have their act together, maybe what we are looking to do with watervolleyball. They rent a facility for the games. 300 spectators show up. They sell beer. Have matching uniforms. Have a few referees with hand signals for all their various types of fouls. And have a band play during the half time show. |

Anybody know of any facilities with pools that can be rented? There is the Recreation Plantation in Dripping Springs which has an outdoor pool. http://www.rpcampground.com/ Maybe we could acquire one of those freestanding nets one day. A watervolleyball camping trip would be interesting. |

I went to this place for a Flipside event. I thought that pool was familiar. I'm not going anywhere near that pool ever again.
