As previously discussed with some of you, there is a rule change for the AWVP 06 season. The rule is this:

- The first rule change to be proposed immediately following this rule change is immediately accepted along with this rule change, and all other rule changes, regardless of process, (due or otherwise) will be rejected.

The rule change that follows this momentous AWVP bylaw is as follows (and, of course, immediately approved [see rule change above]):

- In the case wherein the server makes contact with the ball during the process of serving said ball, and the ball, having been struck in a manner falling within previously approved serving motions, travels in a trajectory approximating contact with a pole (be it left or right) and then strikes a pole (be it left or right) without touching the net (the white sort of see through bit between the left and right pole), and travels into the area belonging to the side of the obstacle that does not contain the aforementioned server, that side (again, not containing the or “the” server) may block this serve by flaring ass parts (ass part defined as poctar, ass cheak/s, lower and/or upper ass region, taint, sphinky, sphincter, stink maker, goat bate).

Good luck this year.

Battle Hymn of the Groundhog
© 1989 by Don Halley

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the sun;
I ramble o'er the meadow where my forecasting is done;
And if I see my shadow then there's six more weeks to come;
As winter marches on.

Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Springtime may be coming to ya!

How Cold Thou Art
© 1990 by Don Halley

Oh poor groundhog, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the trips that you have made
Up through the woods, amid the dead of winter
To look around and see if there was shade

Then bleeds my soul my frigid friend for thee
How cold thou art, how cold thou art
Then bleeds my soul my frigid friend for thee
How cold thou art, how cold thou art
