The Flying Spaghetti Monster link has pumped me up. Here is a revised description of us. The Association of Water Volleyball Professionals is an organization comprised of quite possibly the best water volleyball players that have ever existed. Our goals are to deliver friendly beat-downs and to achieve all-encompassing domination of the universe through a sketchy at best, largely unformulated plan. The mascot of the AWVP is The Panda. Friendliness is a necessity to us, in and out of the water. There are no set teams because we are all on the same team. We are The Pandas. Any living being can join our fight club as long as it has thumbs. If you don't have thumbs you can still sit around, drink beer and watch us, but you will not be an official member. Hundreds of thousands of Natural Light products are consumed by the AWVP pros each year in pusuit of the highly regarded "body by Natty." The blessing of global warming has lengthened our seasons, so logically we lobby heavily against any restrictions on pollution. I like it. I am going to do some statistical analysis on annual Natural Light consumption to check your numbers. |

I'll have to work on the Oppie side of this--kind of the Yin-Yang concept: We are Pandas, but water volleyball is a serious sport, and we take heads! Inspiration can also be found in watching A&E and their seris documenting another Austin-based small scale sporting league. Our goal should be to become the next "Rollergirls" |
